These Terms and Conditions outline the legal obligations and expectations between you (the client) and us (the law firm) in the course of providing legal services. These Terms and Conditions do not modify the Engagement Letter signed by you at the start of your representation.

No attorney-client relationship is established until you and Macdonald & Associates, PLLC have entered into a signed Engagement Letter.
Engagement of Macdonald & Associates, PLLC
By engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined in the engagement letter signed by you at the start of your representation. The engagement letter will also provide the scope of your representation.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and complete information necessary for the provision of legal services. You agree to cooperate with us and to promptly respond to requests for information or documentation related to your case. You agree to pay invoices for legal services and expenses upon receipt of an invoice, unless prior payment terms have been agreed upon by you and Macdonald & Associates, PLLC.
Legal Advice
You agree to provide accurate and complete information necessary for the provision of legal services. Fees and Payments
Our fees for legal services will be outlined in the Engagement Letter. Expenses for items required during the course of your representation will be billed at the rate that Macdonald & Associates, PLLC pays third parties, such as filing fees, publication fees and court costs.
As outlined in the Engagement Letter, you agree to pay all invoices upon receipt. Failure to pay invoices timely may result in suspension or termination of legal services, as outlined in the Engagement Letter.

Confidentiality
We will maintain the confidentiality of all information provided by you, subject to legal and ethical obligations. Confidentiality may be waived by you in writing, or may be waived if required by law or court order.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for any damages or losses arising from factors beyond our control, including but not limited to third-party actions or events.
Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice as outlined in your Engagement Letter. In the event of termination, all legal fees and expenses incurred through date of termination will be due immediately.
Amendments
We reserve the right to update and modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
